Over the coming days, the Officers will meet to allocate tickets to the membership. We will endeavour to meet the members' requirements to the best of our abilities. Each club is granted an allocation by the County Board but demand has greatly exceeded supply. Tickets are expected to be handed out in midweek. We are hopeful that we will receive a further allocation, but there is no guarantee. Message about All-Ireland Final ticket allocation: There is huge interest in tickets for the final. However, members should be mindful that demand exceeds supply many times over. The club has received its first ticket allocation.

We could follow the example shown by Knocklong to maintain and improve the old train station. Kilmallock Railway Station Clean Up Works: After making representations since 2009 on Kilmallocks local area plan and through Kilmallock Tourism Development Ltd to Iarnrod Eireann, I am delighted to announce that we received confirmation last Friday that Iarnrod Eireann has agreed to carry out much needed works on the Kilmallock railway station grounds and building. These will include roof works, painting to the front facade of the building and repairs to the station walls, where required. Kilmallock Tourism Developments CE scheme supervisor Max Hennessy will liaise with Iarnrod Eireanns maintenance manager on behalf of Kilmallock community. This could now be the motivation thats needed to get a committee together, as much requested by Peter Hennessy and others in the community.
